Annual Passover Wine Tasting Better than ever—sponsored by Bottles Wine Shop Next Thursday, March 11, 7:30 pm AT PORT JEWISH CENTER (please note change of location). Bottles will be bringing in tables of Kosher for Passover wine for tasting. Feel free to bring hors d’oeuvres to complement our wine sampling.
We are very excited about this new format, and would like to include as many people as we can. All are encouraged to invite friends to join us—PJC members or guests.

New This Year: Chocolate Seder for the Entire Congregation Saturday, March 20, 7:00, $5/person $15/family maximum. Why is this night different from all other nights? This seder is all from our favorite food group—the chocolate one! Celebrate with four cups of chocolate milk, bittersweet chocolate, and more! If you have never experienced a seder like this, you’re in for a tasty and fun treat. If you’ve participated in one before, you’ll be coming back now. Open to all ages: Nothing brings the generations together like chocolate (well, maybe Passover, too)! Please note: This is a dessert seder, but please don’t eat too big of a dinner.
Empty Chair at the Seder: Facing Loss at the Holidays Tuesday, March 9, 7:30 pm, Woodbury Jewish Center, 200 South Woods Road; no charge for PICC congregation members: Whether you've lost a spouse, sibling, parent, child or close friend, your Seder and Passover holiday as a whole might evoke difficult emotions. Learn how to honor the loss and allow for grief, while finding meaning and comfort in the enduring themes of liberation and renewal. PJCY Ski Trip Sunday, March 7, leaving PJC early in the morning. We’re going to Belleayre Mountain. $50/person includes lift ticket, ski or snowboard rental, lesson, and transportation to/from PJC. PJC Alumna Melissa Hyman in Performing in Port Washington March 6, 8:00 pm at Vintage Port Wine Bar on Main Street. Melissa, daughter of Sandy Hyman and Dan Hyman, will be performing her original folk music accompanied by guitar and cello. Please support one of our former students.
